    OWNER. CEO. STRATEGIST

    Mikeyy Austin is a entrepreneur, nonprofit founder, organizer, marketer, public speaker, and a cultural curator.

    After graduating from Franklin University with a Bachelors in Business Administration, Mikeyy founded the Ourspace brand, a social enterprise comprised of the Ourspace Foundation, which focuses on culture and wellness-based programming, and Ourspace Creative, a Michigan-based creative consulting firm.

    Mikeyy is the organizer behind Mid-Michigan’s largest culture and wellness-based events, including the 517 Juneteenth Weekend, 517 Hispanic Heritage Weekend, 517 Health & Wellness Conference, and many other initiatives. His work expands to programming as well, as he and the Ourspace Creative team piloted the 16-week social media and influencer program, InfluenceLansing, in collaboration with the Lansing Economic Area Partnership (LEAP).

    Mikeyy is a 2023 10 Over the Next 10 recipient, City of Lansing’s Emerging Leader (2023), Lansing Built to Last Winner (2023), and Michigan Humanitartian Nominee (2024).

    Anaiyah Brewer is a dynamic and results-driven Marketing, Communications, and Social Media Director with a proven track record of success in promoting and enhancing the visibility of organizations and events. Currently serving as the Marketing and Communications Manager at OurSpace 517, Anaiyah is instrumental in driving the organization's mission to foster community engagement and cultural awareness.

    Anaiyah's expertise extends to event organization and management, as evidenced by her leadership in coordinating the 517 Juneteenth Weekend event in REO Town, Lansing. This multi-day celebration of culture, education, and entertainment showcases her ability to seamlessly blend strategic planning with innovative marketing techniques.

    In addition to her role at OurSpace 517, Anaiyah is also a key player in the corporate world, serving as the HR Product Development Supervisor at McDonald’s Corporation. Her dual roles highlight her versatility and commitment to fostering growth and development both within the community and in the professional sphere.
